looking for a motor for my brothers XP (christmas present)

stock or modified aslong as it runs and is in QLD.

its a 66 fairmont so id prefere the 200 (as it came with the 200ci) but a 170 will do.

looking for one relatively cheap otherwise ill rebuild one of the motors here but id really prefere a running one as i only have a small amount of time while he is away on holidays.

also a manifold and carbie (not stock) to fit on.

not sure if u can find a pre x flow that quick

thought about a xflow conversion ie XE engine?

or a later model engine out of an early e-series?

its not made for speed. this is a weekend origional classic made for cruising.

crossflow and 3.9/4.0 are too much work to get going in the 10 days my brother is away.
