hey, would anyone happen to know a cheap place in perth that does really nice refurbishing and put leather onto a EF steering wheel? as my actual steering wheel is in real crappy condition and i hate steering wheel covers.

Another option would be to pick up a XR wheel. Even up to AU will fit.

I got mine secondhand from a dealer, when someone upgrades their wheel to momo the dealers end up with new (but secondhand) wheels lying around.
However being the age of the EF/EL & AU I doubt that any dealer is still going to have any. Worth a try. Other than that ebay or wreckers.

ebay, wreckers, here and ffau often turn up steering wheels

ohh ok.. will they still be legal ones? because i've heard that you cant take a car with airbags and put a non-airbag steering wheel on it.. is this true?

The wheel these guys are talking about are all ex factory wheels with airbags.

haha yeh i know that bit.. but i mean the momo ones? cos i know some of them you have to get boss kits n crap.. but can u get momo ones that have airbags n all that?

There are Momo wheels that were made for and sold by Ford.

no, but there is someone on ebay that sells wheels for ef/els that are very chunky like the ba gt's etc. think they're badged as svo wheels or something?
