the diff moves around quite a bit actually especially through hard cornering, see how one side is mounted to the chassis and the other to the diff, this stops the side to side movment of the diff. the adjustment holes are for when we played with ride height the bar should sit parallel with the road when the cart is on the ground. they dont call them a live axle rear end for nothin. you could try using some traction bars for starters, i think all 351 9inch combos on xc,s had them standard. help with shutter on hard acceleration. if you want comfort surely the old xy seats have enough spring in them to take away the harshness of the suspension if not go to pedders and put there spring, shock combo all the guys in street machine or ford performance mag use

Dont Pedders have a bad name,as in just painted Monroe stuff???

wouldnt buy pedders myself but seems to be a combo a lot of guys use, id go see king springs ask for a set that he makes for the historic racers. i wouldnt bother about the comfort youll be havin to much fun driven the thing to worry about that. tryin to talk my mate into the same thing but he wants to try the pedders way for the comfort reason. id be tryin to find some factory traction bars or get someone to make you a set they help a heap under power off corners. they go fromm the diff forward to the chassis help like a four link setup

Most had recaro seats or ssaas.
My HO has recaros and thats why I asked if anyone had a set of original seats as I have been offered a LOT of money for the car IF it has the original type seats. :D
