hey fellas. wanted to know if neone has tried the capa flash tuner on there rides. ive read it takes only minutes and adds up to 40kw. Can neone tell me if this is 4 real.

a mate at work had extractors exhaust CAI and a flash done on his BA xr8, went from 200rwkw to 260rwkw. same dyno same day

theres a bit of info on them floating around, but from what ive heard theyre a good thing.

really depends on what mods you've done, you wont get the full potential if you havnt got a full exhaust and good airbox. you might get a gain of 15kw on a stock car but 30-40 with exhaust and airbox. any they say it takes minutes and adds upto 40kw, but they only have base programs on it, to get upto 40kw gain you need a custom tune to go with it

in my opinion do a bit of homework as ive also heard those stories but ive also heard stories from people that got as low as 7kw gains on a custom tune and these were straight up no b@#$%^&t guys ,if your gonna do it ; do it when your finished all your mods

Excatly right fairy, had the capa tune fitted AFTER done cam, exhaust, air induction, r.rs etc. made a 60kw gain. I got the capa tune because engine wouldnt run properly after cam change, wouldnt idle, chewed the fuel, uneven power.
