I Am About to fit a pioneer cd/Mp3 inti the EL have removed the original and need to fit the pioneer mounting bracket into the original position
got all the wiring adaptors etc but need to know the best way to mount the pioneer bracket do you use the original clips and mount them on to the new bracket? what is the best way help please |

Might not even have to use the pioneer bracket unless you really want to use it cause you have it...
I'd just unscrew the bracket from the Ford stereo and if it lines up with the Pioneer holes on the side use that. If you have the wiring adaptors, be a piece of piss take u bugger all time. |

From the Falcons i've done, the stock unit had metal brackets screwed to the sides, these come off and can be fitted to the Pioneer head unit. Very easy to install
You don't need the metal cradle that came with the Pioneer. |

Yeah. I have a Pioneer head unit installed in my EL and I used the original bracket from the OLD head unit. The holes of the bracket from the old head unit did not line up with the Pioneer head unit so I just drilled another hole into the bracket and screwed them in. Fits nice and flush into the slot and doesn't stick out too much or too far in.

yes screw the metal brackets from the stocko unit into the side of the pioneer unit and it will slide in on the stock rails without a hitch.
