When I get my T5 conversion, is there any fly-wheel options to take advantage of, and where can I buy from? Is there likely to be additional labor costs on top of the conversion? I'm also looking at the herrod sure shifter but the website dosn't have any prices. Has anybody used a herrod sure shiftrer or something similar?

oed666 off fordforums.com.au told me that he has an xr6t (ba series 1 5spd) flywheel and it bolts straight up to e-series. they're alot lighter. these are brand new so won't require machining, so you'll save yourself $30-50 on machining the old one.

Personally I believe that light flywheels are a bad idea, but if you do want one then you can get a standard flywheel machined significantly lighter or there are aftermarket flywheels available that are lighter and take bigger clutches from places like Adelaide Clutch Service (dont know if they have a distributer elsewhere).

yeh ford would have been where he got it from, and i don't know how much he paid, but he ran a 13.8 in an n/a 6
