I've got a BA with only front power windows. Its a pain in the a*** to hold the switch down to completely lower the glass. I've noticed some have "auto" writen on the switch. i assume that means one push of the switch and it goes down all the way. Does anyone know if its a simple swap of my existing switch cluster with the "auto" type to gain this feature or is it more involved?
cheers

The 4 switch and the 2 switch have different plugs on them so i think it may be a drama.

I know a guy in victoria that does the conversion and also can put different colour illumination in where there is no wiring provision. You can call him on 0405705945 (andrew)

The auto down feature only on cars with back power windows as well as the front. You'll need that wiring loom.

Not quite the case. There should be a circut board directly connected to the switches itself.

If you could get your hands on a four swithc and swap out the two fronts to you existing 2 switch it may work

Then again it may not....

I had some experience with this with the EF/EL setup, hopefully they havent updated the power window switch technology too much.

Wouldn't some Utes have come with the auto feature as well? It'd be kinda odd if the XR's didn't have it.
