Hey im thinkin about deadening my rear shelf and my front doors in my EL Fairmont Ghia to enhance the Ford Premium Sounds system. How much would it cost to have it done? Is it worth having done? Where can I get it done?

Is it worth you doing....to be honest I'd say with the setup you currently have no for the money its not worth it and would be better spent elsewhere. The improvement you would gain In my opinion would be very minimal.

Costs vary on brand...you can australian products such as "Sound-Off" or american reknowned such as "Dynamat" ... there are various stages in products so costs can vary accordingly

alright, thanks. The reason I ask is cos if I turn the woofer up a bit it really rattles the crap out of the back shelf (woofer on high at half volume)

Whats rattling tho...cant be the shelf itself...and the carpet overlay should have felt underneath... ? do u know where abouts or what is actually making the noise?
