i want an alarm for my car sumfin good not worried about the price.. wot u reckon it has to be remote start im looking at a carscop one seems orite what other brands are good to look at?

well apart from that u obviously want an alarm so bad u had to post the same topic three times.

Don't buy mongoose they are s**t - Vyper are a well known brand used by many....CAM are very decent alarms dont think they have remote start but u need to think whether or not u really need it...as units with remote start support espescially heater on/off etc will up the cost.

Viper are the way to go. There are 3 different remote start alarms available in the range. The only problem you will have is the smartlock side of it for the remote start. The smartlock module has to see Accesories/Ignition/Start before the car will start. There is a module available to overide this , but it is pricey.If you ring Directed Electonics they should be able to give you a price on the module.
We get all our Viper alarms & Upgrades from them and they are very helpfull.
"Hey Big Kev, what's wrong with Mongoose alarms mate? , I've had one of their old alarms for 7 years and it hasn't missed a beat :D
(Don't know about their new s**t though!! :? )
