What did ya pay, there around the 6hundy mark yeah? I had a look at one the a few days ago. They seem to be a pretty weighty unit aswell.

Certainly matches the AU with the silver highlights aswell, looks s**t hot...

loooks heaps good dude...really stands out with the silver face too...good for u dunno bout thieves eyein it off tho nice but

I got it for $500 then paid the $59 for 5 year warranty. I got it from jb hifi.
I always take the face off it whenever i park the car, and whenever its at work i park it under the camera lol.. so f**k the thieves hahaha

Tacky buttons? the chrome things? they look aight..
What sorta speakers are good in AU's? I got NFI whats what.. but i know how to install s**t like that.
I also wanted a couple of 12" subs and an amp to run them, any reccomendations?

i just installed a set of MB Quarts Discus model 6.5" splits for a mate and i was bloody impressed, around the $350 mark i think. although i don't know wot size speakers r in AU's lol.

as for subs go for whatever is in ur price range, audio gear to a certain extent is much of a muchness.

sony is much better now then it was a few years ago, actually not bad for its price.

few months ago i got a sony Mp3 cd unit for $179, and it went into my 93' hilux 4x4, and yes the hilux is a rough car even with the harshest of ofroading havn't had it skip yet!

yeah my last head unit was just an el cheapo sony one and it skipped a bit going over bumps in the road, although it probably wouldn't help that my car is lowered on 19's lol
