Hey guys
on Thursday i was driving home from work down the high way doing 105km when i went over a bridge and i herd a bank like something hit under neath i guess and i kept going up the road and the road curved and i followed the curve and it felt like i was drifting but i was driving normal and when i drive down a straight road u do small swerves you can fell the rear end fish tailing. i thought it was the tracking bars bushes collapsed so i replaced them today and i did the sway bar mounting bushed and sway bar link bushes id it drive better but it hasn't helped the current problem. I jacked the car up and i pulled the wheel out wards and pushed back in and there was movement but it wasn't much but it was a bit. Would that be the problem? can i fix it by removing the wheel, rotor, check the retaining plate push the bearing further on the axle so there no free play or don't that work???

Sounds like rear trailing arm bushes
Actually got me stuffed why they are called "rear trailing arms" as they are in front of the diff...

is the whole diff assembly moving when you pull the wheel?
I'd bet on the trailing arm bushes aswell. FYI there called rear trailing arm bushes cause there in the rear of the car. If just the wheel moves, then its probably the wheel bearings |

when you push pull the wheel, does the whole diff assembly move, or just the wheel?

Wheel bearings f**k or the four bolts holding the axle on have come loose. Either way fix it quick!! Have to add (very unlikely) may have snapped an axle (extremely unlikely tho)
