They won't fit in. You would need to do some sort of modification to get them in.

I always thought you can just remove the railings and then just slide what ever seat you want into the railings? or have the seats gone wider and fatter with different railings?

Not without modifying the rails.

So they wont fit into an AU without a few mods to more then just the rails?
But will fit into an EF/EL by just modifying the rails? bummer. I've heard the BA door trims go straight on no hassle. Why do you want BA rear seats in an AU anyhow? Just curious, I haven't taken a good hard look at the rear seats yet. |

You will need to custom modify the rails to fit BA seats into AU
The BA seats rails are integrated into the actual base of the front seats where as the AU rails actually unbolt seperately Sounds easier than actually is beleive me I'm still waiting for GT-P trim to come available for my project so can't give anymore info than this at moment but my flatmate has BA XR seats here that he is going to put into his AU Lane so hopefully i will be more informed on exactly what needs to be done to make these fit in next few weeks
