Hi guys, would these be the same for a V8 or I6 EF/EL, and what else would be needed besides the buttons for an adding cruise to an ELV8 with ABS.

You wont need anything as above mentioned, if it's manual you will need the switch and loom for the clutch but that's not expensive.
You will also need to buy a throttle cable for the cruise module to suit the 8.
Otherwise it's plug and play.

It's an auto, so just the cable, module and buttons? what about any wiring loom/s.

Nah, seeing as you are ABS equipped then the loom is already laying there where the module bolts up.... Without ABS then you need to wire in the loom.

The steering controls also plug straight in.

Yeah that's basically it.
I fitted mine years ago but that was a non ABS manual so there was a lot more to it.
I fitted one for a guy which was EL ABS auto, that's all it needed.
