For the price it's at now, it'd be fine for some bass... How good that bass sounds is another thing.
Personally, i'd stick to a single name brand sub in a plain old box and you'll be much happier with the SOUND from it. |

Tell ya what though love the look of the box, I'm tempted to buy something like that and throw either the 2 DLS OA8's I've got plus another or buy 3 DLS Classic Series W380B 8" subs.......
But to do it on the cheap replace the 3 subs with JayCar Venom 8" subs, but thats just my opinion anyway..... But yeah more show than go....

The problem is that the box is ported, so you can't just change the speakers in the box without retuning (changing) the ports. Ported boxes are tuned to the specific speakers in them, changing speakers could cause all sorts of problems.

Yeh if you wanted to change your woofer/enclosure you'd be better off form the start getting a combo u want or suits ya needs...unless you have the specs of the enclosure n port....and if ya lucky may find a better sub that can match those specs and still work properly...chances tho of finding an exact match would be very slim.
