What block did you get? Dart or World ManOWar?

Would you have ever considered grout filling part of the water jacket in the stock block?

Grout filling blocks can lead to some serious heating problems in street cars hence why mainly used in HP drag motors which only requires motor run for certain amounts of time

Yes it is a DART block but which 1 i'm not exactly sure on though as my mechanic is in charge of this department

He knows what i want and he gets heaps better pricing than me so leaving it in his hands

any one seen the 2007 ford racing 302 block? supposed to be a lot stronger. They even have a 331 500HP crate engine made using this block.

The R302 block is good for 1200 h.p...
The FORD sportsman is rated much lower, not much higher than efi 5.0 ..Much the same as Mexicam block, still 2 bolt mains..
The Dart blocks handle 2500 h.p....

My block is the DART sportsman with the 3 centre caps being 4 bolts and 2 end caps being 2 bolt

The only difference from this block to the next level up DART is that the other DART block has 4 bolt mains across the board

So i am happy with my new block, it will handle any amount of hp that i will throw at it

These blocks cost in vicinity of around 3500.00
Mines in container in Sydney awaiting to be unpacked so should have it in couple days
