hey guys, just wondering if an ef single din radio surround willl fit in an el..just cause i havent seen one and apparently they have a slightly different lighter position...plus its the only one the wreckers have atm

i will be cutting the bottom bit where the pocket and ashtray are to fit a screen anyway

To the best of my knowledge they are the same.....If I remebmer correctly when I needed a new one, I got an EL fascia from the wreckers, cause it was cheaper...... :? :?

really?? yeah he said there were two different types and it was cause they had different setups with the lighter, and i thought i remembered reading the same thing on here..

meh, i dont think it can be that different, plus im goin to hack it up anyway

The series one EF facia has the lighter inside or covered by the ash tray opening. Series II and EL had the lighter exposed at all times. Apart from the colour difference these is nothing different from EF II and EL. You should be able to fit Series I into series II and EL if you remove the ball and socket arrangement near the lighter and use a screw instead.

Id prefer the EL type with the external lighter as its handy for say a phone charger.

i like my ef series 1 cover. I hate seeing the cig lighter.... Doesnt matter, i dont have a sig lighter anyways
