illumination one connect to the positive lighting signal that goes on when you turn your lights - plenty of options from a headlight power wire in the engine bay to the cigarete/ashtray light in the center console.
Red wire is most likely accessories power, can use the same one as at the back of the headunit, or easier still is the positive power wire to the cigarete lighter assembly. Earth, well anywere, eath it to the chasis/body somewhere, or tap into another earth wire. Sender would go to the oxygen sensor wire (careful as I think there are three - 1 positive wire is for the heater in it or something, the earth is earth for the heater as the actual sensor earths on the exhaust system I think, and the other signal wire is the one you want). Easier and better still is to tap into it at the ECU. Can probably find out in the Technical Documents which one it is. Hope this helps. |

Thread's a bit old guys but just in case im not too late....
The ground for an AFR guage is NOT just some random metal point on the chassis. You need to ground the gauge through the "HEGO ground" wire of the ECU. Try and ground it through the chassis and the readings will be erratic and innacurate.
