Hey
Does anybody know if its legal in QLD to have different load rated tyres on the front axle compared to the rear? I got to have 102 on the rear but those tyres are too wide for the front so I want to go something not as wide which means lower load rating but it will still be over the load rating of the front axle. Or is it I have to have the maximum load rating on the placecard for every tyre? Thanks Luke

As long as the tyres are the same as or higher in rating then the placecard states i dont think it will matter.

Yeah I have two load ratings on my placecard though. One for the front axle of 985kg and one for the rear which is 1700kg. Im assuming cars would only have one? So can I have lower rated tyres on the front because the load rating is lower?
thanks Luke

Being a commercial vehicle, its correct that it has two ratings, so as long as the fronts are eqqal or better than the rating on the placard you'll be fine.
