hey guys,
I drove my car back from doncaster yesterday in that b**ch heat and when i got home I ran in for like 5 minutes, and when i got back out all the coolant was leaking all over the driveway, I filled it back up again and tried to look where it was leaking but no go it was fine... i then drove it to my mates house around 15 minutes away and It was absolutely fine, I was there for 3 hours and I got back to the car and it was still fine. I then drove another 10 minutes to my girlfriends place and went inside for like half hour, came out and coolant was everywhere again! I really have no idea what this sounds like?? any idea's? |

probably being forced out through the overflow ... where under the car was it leaking ... near/behind the drivers front wheel???? If it is ... it's most likely come out the overflow hose from the header tank.

it might need a new radiator cap?

if it doesnt turn out to be a radiator cap it sounds like it could be the water pump. while the coolant is under consistent pressure, it keeps pressure on the impeller seal, but when it is turned off and the pressure is droping the seal starts to leak. right b**ch to diagnose because a pressure tester wont find it.
