ok as u no i own a 1995 Ford Mondeo and i wanna put a pod filter in it, but im not sure how to do this as i cant find any to suit the mondeo. can any1 help me plz?
tools aint a prob as im an apprentie mechanic so i got all the tools and stuff jsut wanna get some advice. thanx in adcnace Zodiakz |

not too familair with underneath your bonnet and ease of installation of a pod filter.. do you have a pic/pics of your engine bay?

not at the moment but i will go and take some in the morning, but cause its a european ford its quit cramped, but it a a 4 cyl Ztec engine.

thats what i wanted the pics for... to check about how much space you had for a filter and to see if you have any elctrical crap hooked up to the air intake..

Its all good to put a pod filter in da bay but u need 2 sheild it from the hot air in the engine bay as its the cold air that u are after

yeah pods only make a difference if there is heat shielding as well as some piping for cold air induction. if u put it in without this you will be sucking in hot air and engines dont like that ha ha
