What flywheel do you have?

As said, ea or early eb uses the 3 bolt type clutch/pressure plate setup, after that they switched to the 6 bolt.

You won't know for sure until the G/box is out.

Since someone else has done the conversion, it doesn't matter what g/box it is, because you don't know what flywheel's been used (you could assume, but you can't be 100 percent sure) - so it would be best to physically sight it.
The only ways I can think of without pulling the g/box first is to drop the inspection plate, pull the CRT LP fuse, and have someone motor the flywheel over bit by bit, so you can check with a torch how many pressure plate mounting bolts there are. You might be able to do the same by lifting the throwout lever dust cover and looking through the cavity while the flywheel is motored over bit by bit.
