my car doesn't drive too bad, but after driving other cars, i know it could be so much sharper and lively. been told the shocks are a bit s**t and theres a few bushes may need replacing one day. cars done 76,000k.
when driving down the road theres a very small delay in the responce of the car. anyone have ideas to what it might be? if i was going to replace the bushes (perhaps all round) how much roughly for the parts and how hard is it to do? Cheers

new shockies make a world of difference, together with a shim type (nolathane) camber kit, from my experience sorry...stuffed up with the multiple posts |

decent gas shocks will make a difference ... as mentioned though your bushes should be fine.
Pedders do those $14 suspension safety checks ... and there's no obligation in getting anything done ... sometimes they come up with weird things ... but I everytime I have had one the report didn't have stupid things on it. camber/castor kits can help with extra alignment adjustment ... is needed more when lowering excessively. Castor adjustment makes a huge difference with initial turn-on and mid-corner handling. It depends how far you want to go though. Start off with shocks ... then see what else you feel like doing later on. Swaybars make a difference in reduce roll ... as long as you choose wisely too,

not really looking to upgrade any suspension parts, just keep the car in good nick.
i had a feeling it'd be the shocks because pedders did a shock dyno on it and said they where acting there age and tilting in to a corner, there doesn't feel like theres any preload to help the sway bar. oh well, chuck that on the 'one day' list
