I've got a EF ECU here with unknown origin, which I've been trying to work out what its from. I googled and found a whole lot of information about printers, and couldn't find anything regarding my catch code here on FM...
Could anyone help me out with identifying my ECU? The catch code is 6DBA. I guess its not a gas ECU because it hasn't got the 'G' for the third digit, and is the first revision of the ECU? Dan

How many pins does the plug have, 60 or 104 ??
I would assume without seeing it that it is an EL ECU, since the code starts with a 6.

Definately an EL ECU but sorry dont have that one in my list, so cant help you. just a hunch tho might be a Falcon Manual ECU.
Its Definately not a tickford or a Gas ECU

f**k, if its an EL ECU it may be suitable for my BBM conversion like I'd originally bought it for, assuming it was a EF one :s
I'll ring Ford tomorrow.

Its a bog stock EL I6 Auto ECU with 3.08 diff.
