YOu mite find the magna injectors run a different Ohm so mite not run with the std ECU.
They do flow more then the std (19 pound EL/EF ) injectors and are a good/cheep replacement.
But.... why do you need them?
Im hitting 235-240 rwhp and have only just started to max the std ones out.

Injectors work best when they run at about 60-70% duty cycle, this means that they are flowing 60-70% of the time when at peak HP. Any thing more than this and you can risk damaging the injectors themselves. Another thing to note is that when the injectors run at a phase width of less then 2 milliseconds good metering of the fuel is impared, injectors tend to dribble, and this is what happens when you run larger injectors than neccesary. AFAIK magna injectors are still 19lbhr injectors with a smaller spray pattern, which changes fuel atomisation in the inlet port. To give a truely accurate answer someone would need to fit them and dyno the car (before and after of course) and post the comparrison. With the magna injectors being at 19lbhr I dont see that they would produce any major probs if you did decide to try them. Another neat trick is to up your fuel pressure slightly to gain a higher flow rate out of your std injectors. The factory XR6's do this and it may be benificial to any one running a modded street engine. Higher fuel line pressure can also help to gain better fuel atomisation but this reaches a point of diminishing return after about 4 bar, so crankin up max pressure on your adjustable fuel reg isnt always the best idea.

The Commodore guys run the injectors at around 61psi to get them to 24lb/hr. Your stock fuel pump would not be happy doing this for long - especially if it is a bit older. The Injectors are only 19lb/hr anyway.

From what i know, the engine detects how rich or lean it is running from the oxy sensor in the exhaust, and so will correct itself and drop the duty cycle down so they dont put ot as much fuel. I stand to be corrected on this if im wrong but :P

So i dont think youll have problems with overfueling

This is true for the closed loop, but open loop mode does not observe the information being produced by HEGO. Therefore at full throttle EEC depends on hard coded maps and scalar functions... injector size being one of these. But as noted, still 19# injectors.

I wouldnt think fuel starvation would be a problem until a fair bit of work had been done.... most ppl try to lean the stock engine out to get more power...

So 24's would be good for 250ish rwhp?
