Some of the backlighting in my cluster is dead (EL Fairmont), also some of the idiot lights are now gone too. I'd like to replace the lot however some have removable globes, others dont. Where can i buy a dozen or so new globe holders? Supercheap only sell the globes. And no, i dont want LED's as I cant be bothered. Cheers.

The white and black holders have removables, the light blue ones don't from memory.
An option could be to try self serve wreckers - the ones I've been to in Sydney (which you've probably been to as well when you were still there), I've found it pretty easy to find a collection of bulbs - get more than you need, as you'll probably find plenty of the light blue ones, some might be blown, some not.

yes i was thinking the wreckers but im really too lazy. Might be the only way to go, i'll swap them all out for the removable bulb type.

I'd say wreckers will be the cheapest option - ford are pretty expensive with replacement bulbs, Narva might make a compatible bulb holder, but again they won't be as cheap as the wreckers.

Cluster globes are sold complete with the holder. Try another Auto store..
The only one that is not replaceable is the Smartlock globe.
The warning lights (Oil, Temp, Seatbelt etc) are accessed by dismantling the cluster - these are a miniature bulb and holder but are readily available.

They're also interchangeable with the rear demist/half height antenna switch globe holders.

Pick and Pay More usually has plenty of Air-bagged taxis you can rip to bits. Thats where I got my last few sets of globes from, (about 3 clusters worth :-))

Excuse the silly question, but what model are the Falcons they have there? Their site suggest nothing later than an ED, but was after a first hand opinion, cheers.

Well, I can only speak for Garry Rush's at Blacktown, but there they had up to AU's. There were plenty of wrecked EF and EL cabs, and lots with deployed 'bags.

They do vary depending on what is crash of the week, but I had no issues finding EF's and EL's last time.
