ok ive just started to notice to problems going on with my eb...

1st one is that I think my starter motors starting to go because sometimes the car wont turn over (well it doesnt try to) but if i give the dash a sharp hit or close the door the car starts...

2nd one is that my car seems to have been over revving alot more than it usually does? (its an auto) like ill be doing around 3000 revs while in first and the cars gutless as balls and it'll take a noticable time to accellerate like it usually does.

ive noticed the latter happens a little bit more often when I correct the first problem?

any idea's?

the first problem isnt your starter motor, it iwll be your smartlock module. it is located under the dash/above the handbrake. mine does the same thing.

A mate suggested to me that this can be fixed by taking the
module out and cleaning the whole thing up.
Open it up and any damaged or corroded connections could be
cleaned or soldered.
