just thought i'd post for anyone that cared.
anyone who was at the midweek cruise yesterday heard my death rattle in my xorst when leaving from skyhigh.
it was so embarresing, lol.
found out my xorst was rubbing on the top of the diff.
the rubber mount behind the muffler was completely shot, and hanging about an inch lower than it should have.
i thought replacing that would fix it, so i did so and it made it worse!!!
what happened, was the new rubber mount pulled the xorst up, but also closer into the center of the car therefore closer to the diff.
i ended up loosening the last section of the xorst (after the muffler) and rotating it to push it up higher to the body.
took it for a quick spin, and there was no rattle, so fingers crossed it stays gone.
also replacing my tensioner pulleys tomorrow to stop that whistle.
sick of morons saying my car sounds supercharged.

are you actually retarded? or are you purposely spelling exhaust as 'xorst'?

If it isn't the latter, congratulations on writing that entire article by yourself, good boy!

Nah, no probs, most people can understand what you mean. Good initiative to document your issue and how you fixed it.
You can generally tell the exhaust alignment by croutching down and checking how the exhaust tip sits in the rear bumper recess - if it's not central then they'll probably be an issue.
EDIT: You should only agree to change the spelling if the guy changes his sig block. :?
