hey all, my standard brake discs have warped pretty badly..so i'm gonna replace them with some DBA's.

i'm not sure whether to go for DBA standard replacement discs, or DBA slotted discs.

is there really much, if any advantage to using slotted discs? better braking performance? less brake fade? etc? thanks guys.

do you use it on a race track? tow? street race?

its just more money, but if you want the looks and a poofteenth more braking, why not.

had mine done, but i could of saved about $160 if i didn't

go the slotted, a VERY noticable improvment, but i give the car a hiding, if your sedate you probably wouldnt notice.

jusding by your sig, with some power mods comming, 1st you should make the car stop as fast as it goes

Go the slotted, great improvement for little bucks.

Avoid cross drilling, they can have issues with cracks developing between the holes!

has anyone thought that maybe just because the car is fitted with a newer brake then previous, the driver just think it pulls up a s**t load better?

i know they dissapate heat and energy better, but they're just standard rotors with some slots milled in

the disks i pulled off my car to replace with dba's were 2000k's old, and i notced a good improvment, braking was better, but execive repeated braking was MUCH improved.

as i said, youll only notice the differance if you give your brakes a bit of a hard time.
