Yep, Mine are s**t and chances are yours are too!
I've repaired them once (sanded/buffed) and Well they look good but are still useless. My questions are, 1)Do I just redo them again and CLR Clear the guts this time? 2)Buy New Gen. ones (and no.. im not going the XR on a bermuda green car) 3)Buy New Aftermarket ones? at a cheap price! I wanna know if these aftermarket ones are any good OR better than the orig and if anyone has had any bad expiriences (besides wiring and melting from high wattage globes). All i want is Better and clearer visibility. cheers!

Everyone wants a clearer and better vision field in EF/EL headlights. Unfortunatley in comparison to the modern xenon's our headlights are s**t basically. Have you thought of installing the HId kits they sell on ebay? As for genuine new lights they would cost a fair bit i would think and not offer THAt much more visability than your current ones, especially for the price you'd be paying. as for aftermarket, they're in the same boat i reckon. my 2c
