i havethe opertunity to purchase a second hand 6/71 supercharger that has a custom manifold that is over ten yrs old but seams to of been made very skillfully that is suited for a clevland V8 and was wondering what is involved in having one rebuilt and how much i would expect to pay for the charger and to have it serviced ,any ideas would be great.

most of the time the rotors and seal get worn and scored , but also the housing get scored up aswell , thats 1 of the first things to look at when getting a 2nd hand unit

there are numerous US based companies that are making blowers based on the Detroit/GM truck units, that are NOT re manufactured but cast new improved & higher quality cases & end plates ,with a flawless polished finnish, and are selling in AUS for $2500 (AUS) or there abouts
I will be pissing off my rebuilt 6/71 for one of these, the quality is like chalk & cheese. Why use old when new is around the same coin?
