That come up nice mate. 8-) Thinking about that style boot for my ute. I've already done the surround (got a bit enthusiastic changing gears and broke the plastic one) with aluminium checkerplate. I painted the whole thing flatblack and then put the orbital over the top.
I reckon I remember your thread from before. 8-)

Not rubber floor mats. The floor is rubber no carpet. As it is my work ute carpet would be ruined in like a week so I prefer the rubber.

Hahaha yup. The boot itself is the same material as the center console cover. Looks even sweeter in real life.

Nice to see more XH stuff on here.
Very good job - looks clean and fits in - big improvement on the 'bellows' type gear boots.
Being an oldie it reminds me of an SLR 5000 type shift.

Dude it was easy as to fit. It is just a velour wraped around the original shift and sewen / glued in place. Then the actual boot is mounted to the original mount points plus glued in a few spots for extra strength. The sewing of the boot was done by Marino auto trim in cairns. If you read street ford you would have seen that blue landau or however it is spelt. They did the interior in that as well.

Oh it is way shorter. I bought the kit that was in the for sale section cant remember who had them for sale but did a group buy. It is awesome. Except the only thing is it bends of to an american or L/H/S driver position. Not to the ozzy position.
