My EA & my EL would take 2-3 k's to get to operating temp on a mild day. The BA warms up very quick <1k

It depends alot on if its on idle or actual driving. If driving around 2-3k's and idle around 5-10min. The low thermo comes on at around the "M" on the temp guage and the Max fan comes on at around "R" on the temp guage and of course if A/C is on the fans are on max automatically.

Actually ... with A/C on both fan are on low speed until the blower fan is on 3 or above ... then it switches to high speed.
