hello again
i have a question.. im trying to connect a knock sensor to a el ecu in my ea.. from what i can work out the yellow/red wire goes to pin 23 +3v and i guess the plain yellow wire goes to signal ground.. can any one confirm this??? i dont want to blow the ecu!! or do any unecessary damage.... |

according to my gregorys,
the yellow red does go to pin 23. The other (my manual says Black White???) Is a common gound signal that all things like the TPS, Map sensor, Coolent temp sensor are also wired to. You can find this black white wire at pin 46 on the ECU as well The manual also says that the two knock sensor wires should be shielded in similar fashion to the TFI module wires are as well

hi
thanks for that.. i connected the wires up that way and so far so good.. i dont know if its related but the idle quality has improved greatly since the knock sensors has been conected.... |
