I need a wiring diagram to set up electronic cooling fans to my DA LTD.
These are new but from a EF/EL ? series.
Can they be hard wired in ? Do I need a relay ??
Any help would be much appreciated
Direct email to merayza@bigpond.net.au if preferred. :P

First thing is check to see if you have a radiator that has the mounts to screw the electric fans onto. When I did mine I made the mistake of buying a EF radiator and fans but the hose sizes are different.

I used a Davies thermostat and made up a 3 relay control circuit. One fan operates on Aircon and 2 at full speed off the (Davies)coolant thermostat. I used separate fuses for each fan (30A) and fitted suitable connectors in place of the original Ford ones.

If you want I can PM you the details and could draw a circuit diagram of the electrical.

I just thought, I take it you are replacing the old clutch fan? Haven't seen a LTD so only guessing that they are same as Failane and Falcon.
