You can see there all the holes in the lower bracing part of the bonnet, so with the bulge above making a cavity, there's plenty of room for your hot air to sit or circulate or whatever you want it to do with out having the need to cut through the factory strength.
Also it's a lot easier to fit the bulge if you can sikaflex it to that framing to hold it in place when fibreglassing.

hey edxrsw, how much do u charge to attach the bulge to a bonnet? cos im useless with that sorta stuff. and delivery to mooroolbark mate?

At the front of your bulge you should cut a bit out so air can enter the engine and cool it.

yeh on the ed. saw it on "lowxr" in person. not sure if he's a member here tho. looked really good. probably gonna get the bulge n definitely a bootlip spoiler, but just tryin to find out cost of getting the bulge put on first

yeh iv seen that photo. it looks hideous. who would choose that colour? the one i saw was on a silver eb xr6, and then there is the guy on here, cant member his name, who just put one on his car. liked those two

The bulge sits up too high in that pictures as well, it's not the nice smooth sort of rise that the BA's have (or at least doesn't look like it).

i just put one on... on my EF Fairmont.. pics in gallery.. not liking that ba bulge on the early e-series... yuck! nasty!
