Is it possible to put a pod filter on a 250 crossflow EFI motor?

Autobard actually sell an adaptor to fit a pod on the Ford AFM. the inlet on the AFM is a 2" (roughly) square...it only works for looks though, you cant get any more air through the factory AFM and losing that is a whole new story...

Ive seen pods fitted to those motors, but they would suck in alot of hot air.
