Hi guys, anyone knows any good and cheap places to fit body kit for my ice mint silver 2003 ford falcon ba xt?

I don't mind what model the body kit is as long as it is sporty looking.

I got a qoute from PHAT CUSTOMS in mills road dandenong, front bar + rear bar + side skirt + fitting + painting for $1900. Is it a good deal? Or any brothers out here can intro me better places? :D

but i was quoted $900 when i asked about fitting and painting my XR kit
so maybe you should look around a bit more...

and the price that i was quoted above also included the pearl colour paint work i have on my car... and yours is a stock colour so i dont know why it would be so expensive
i also asked about our other EL fairmont and i was told $2500 i could get the whole car resprayed the same colour and the small dents fixed because it is stock colour... unless they have jessica alba painting the cars? :P

Can you tell me where you're having done then? Maybe i should buy the kits seperately and have it fitted and painted somewhere else.

2500 for a respray? Are you sure? i read about respray in other threads and they're saying it'll cost 5-10k. Mine's a ice mint silver, thinking of respraying it to black as well.

yes i am sure because i just had mine resprayed the same colour with pearl and also had my front end stripped back to bare metal (bonnet and guards) and i was charged $4000
he told me if it was a stock colour he would have charged me around $2500 or just in case ill say about $3000
it will cost you 5-10k if you have to strip back the whole car so that you can spray it a different colour to what it already is

BUT i would not recommend the place that i am having it done at because i handed them the car in November 2005... look at the month and year now and the car has gone back to him for a 4th time
Im even thinking of sending A Current Affair an email and then you may even get to see the guy on TV
That should screw his business

well i bought the kit seperately for $800 and then the fitting and spraying cost $700 actually it wasnt $900
so all up thats $1500

the price you were quoted ($1900) is that ONLY fitting and spraying or is that supplying the kit as well?

well if $1900 includes the kit it sounds like a not bad price i guess
I thought that $1900 was just for fitting and spraying

anyway the place i went to is called GP Alexander and they are on cambro rd in clayton south or something

if you go for a drive i guarantee you will see my car in the shop or outside

im not really complaining about their work because all the large panels like bonnet, doors, roof, boot are all good, its all little things that i told them i want done properly that they have stuffed up on
and its taken them over a year to complete properly
