i just bought an ed fairmont and it has 18" BA MKII wheels and it looks hot as but apparently i can legally only have 17's, can anyone confirm or deny. If this is the case then ill have to sell or swap for 17s, so if there is any interest there let me know.

its not done on the 'inch size' now, its now done by the rolling circumference of the tyre (i believe)
so you can have 20's if you wish, as long as the RC is within a certain amount of the factory RC |

If you have low profile tyres you'll be right, the overall rolling diameter can't be more than 2" more than the largest available standard wheel, so you should be right mate.
