Hey guys im trying to chase some DEFINITIVE information on wiring up the T5 loom to the body loom in an EBII auto.
Does the rectangular connector containing the speedo sender wiring, neutral and clutch switches connect straight into the cars loom? I'm aware of the resistor trick that im gonna be performing but im not 100% on the other wiring and I need some solid information. Thanks guys. |

So do you have a manual g/box loom, and you're connecting this to the existing auto engine loom ??
If this is the case, then no, the pin outs need to be rearranged.

If this is the case, then no, the pin outs need to be rearranged. That is soooo good to hear. Seriously. This simplifies alot! And yeah phong hopefully t5'ing it up tomorrow but we'll see. And yeah i'm sure i'll brag about it for about 5min before i get sick of a manual falcon. |

hey another question for t5 conversion gurus
The inspection plates for the bellhousing/flywheel/flexplate. Same on the auto and manual? (I assume they are due to teh fact they're behind the flexplate/flywheel and the bolt patterns the same? |

Inspection plates are the same. So are the upper ones that go around the starter motor - which goes on first before the bellhousing is fitted.

You can modify the existing auto loom to suit as well - it's not hard, first separate the rectangular plug loom from the round plugged one.
