Once ive got a kit sorted out for my EB, ill be looking at getting the whole car resprayed. Since im not a huge fan of the colour, im looking at changing it to a dark blue with pearl

My question: how much is the average price to pay, considering i probably wouldnt have the time to prep the car myself? and it being a complete colour change? Anyone who has done this before, please let me know prices and hints...
Cheers

sorry to hijack thread, but

do you have to go back to metal if you are going from (lets say) aqua/green to blue?

I got a starting price of $5500-$10,000, to respray my XD, that was taking it back to bare metal.
$10,000 seemed abit too much for my back pocket so I'm doing the prep work myself, its a BIG job

10k to respray a 25 year old car, might as well spend the money on an ED or AU.

I was thinking of respraying my ED but looking at the money and the time it would take I just can't be bothered, i've decided to just save the pennies and get a BA sometime in the next few years.

No, it was originally Navy Blue, and still is Navy Blue. We didnt do the bay or anything. Came up a million dollars though, but it was also a mate doing it for me.
I would say if you wanted something half decent, you will be paying upwards of 5k

im willing to pay the pretty pennies to get it done... ive already spent in excess of 4 grand on engine and exhaust mods, with a cam yet to go in!

so im more the willing to fork out the rest to make it look good. Im thinking around 7-8 grand for a top notch job, including door jams and engine bay, plus fitting of the new kit. Just wanted to see what others thought id be looking at.

This wont happen for a while, as im finishing go-fast mods first. but will keep everyone informed
