A good car battery should last at least 1 month without use and still start a car. Most will last 1/4 year without attention.

A poor battery may only last a few days to a week.

This will be a good test to see if you need a new battery.

cheers
Scott

If it goes flat and it is less than a year old take it back and get a new one.

It wont go flat. It is a new battery so it wont be a problem.

cheers
Scott
