The EA 5sp boxes are BorgWarner, it says on them. The later 5sp boxes are BTReng. it says that on them too.
They have different ratios, the EA one has a 3.50:1 first and the later ones had a 3.25:1 first.

Borg Warner and BTR are the same thing.. Trans section was sold to BTR. ( Has been sold again since) EA through AU g/boxes are from these. Not Tremec. 6 and 8 boxes have the different ratios and some xr6. EA S-Pack box is same as standard as they had no 8's or Xr's. but exact ratio will depend on what box is from. Not huge difference in practice.. main difference being first gear as said.
They build em 10k's from here..
