Did this wicked mod
the Door Handle Lights with Blue LEDs
pretty Bright
but the 2 Back doors keep blowing up
any help please

use resistors before the leds to lower the current. that should stop them blowing.

i dont know what volts/amps you are running so i cant give you an exact resistor ohms value

Lucky you've got mr ex Jaycar here, ok, depending on what values your LED is, the formula is as follows,

R= (VS-VL) / I

What does that mean?
ok
R is the value of your resistor required in ohms
VS is supply voltage, as in your battery
VL is the nominal voltage that your LED requires
I is the required current for the LED

only thing to note, for the optimum brightness, measure the voltage at the point where you want to place the LED, as the car's electrical system is 13.8 or so, give or take your 2 metres of cable, and i dont imagine they would be very thick, there will be abit of voltage drop, goodluck man, oh, show us piccys too, cya :D
