I have used the search button but I just got confused, If I wanted 250rwkw from an EL tickford I6 and I had a turbo setup and nothing else, what would need to be done (1) To handle the power without turning into a siezed lump, and (2) to get to 250rwkw?

So far I believe I would need
Forged Pistons
Zorst and Cat Conv
Fuel Pump
Fuel Reg
Injectors

What else??

Also are EL rods really strong enough for over 400rwkw???

HOW much $$$$ do you want to spend??
Trust me with these long stroke motors the torque they make with turbo's i unbelievable!!!
Aim for 250- 270 rwhp [even then 270 for short time] as you'll be spending big time on transmissions], fuel supply, engine rotating components and ecu hardware.. With std compression even over 9 to 1 with top tune it will be a killer on the street.. Aim too much over 300 Rwkw and you are getting into VERY expensive power levels and fuel economy... At that level a healthy well tuned 4.0 engine will last indefinitely... If you are wanting to strengthen rotting assembly? Then LPG rods from B.F and Forged ACL pistons... Keep in mind a HEALTHY A.U engine is $650.00.....
So the E.L engine is good as it is!!! Again I stress with good tune..
