i had a few quotes today with alot a different views on wats best and wat will fit.
twin 2 1/2 system then 3" over the diff, does this make sense,be better of with just a 3" or not :?:
twin 2 1/4 system straight thru to the back.
single 3" system. :!:
i rang about 8 shops some said a twin 2 1/2 won't fit over the diff, some said a twin 2 1/4 won't fit ,but some said both will fit.
wat is the facts.

I have ED 5.0L - just fitted dual 2 1/2" with straight thru offset mufflers each side with X pipe after cats. The LHS then came along diff into 3" collector to meet up with RHS pipe then over diff in 3" into resonator and out. All mandrel bends.
ED sprint came with 2 1/4" like above.
Does fit - but some zorst shops dont want to do it because not off the shelf item.

Richie.

agreed vik. exhaust technology are not the cheapest place around but you get what you paid for. they are pretty good there. marky knows what he's doing when it comes to having the right sound.

i have twin cats then single 3" all the way. 1 centre muffler and rear resi. sounds o.k. at idle and awesome at full throttle.

I have Lukey extractors, twin 2 1/2 cats into 3 in y pipe, then Big box, then single 3 in over diff and rear resonator. It wakes the street when it does start at 5am on the way to work
