G'day. I am interested in getting the XR headlamp round casing type thing and fitting it to a ED GLi Classic. Will this work? And would I need to change anything else? Would the indicators be the same?

You need to get the XR headlights, the cheapest way for you to get XR style headlights is through Twinlight (www.twinlight.com.au)

You should really be putting XR indicators in, as they have the parkers in them. Definately go for XR if you can, but be prepared to pay for them, as it seems everyone wants them

Might not bother then. Just clear indicators on front, back, and side.

Out of interest, is that really a 2 door? :p

they were $95 a side, unless that has changed recently, you can drill a hole in the after market ones and put parkies in there easily.
