Anyone know what the headlight globes are in a BA XR6T? I'm under ythe impression that they are H4's for high and low beam and H7 in the second high beam housing - anyone able to confirm or deny? Anyone know what the fog lights are?
Reason for asking is was going to send my brother some Narva Artic Blue globes for his birthday, obviously without having the car in the same state I can't check what they are...

Your right on the H4 and H7 but the fog lamps have the globes moulded into the lamp assembly..

ZYou sure? According to fordxr6turbo.com the foggies are H3's.

Well I'm not 100% sure  but if you look at this pic there's certainly no hole at the back to pull it out.
You might be able to push that tab I have an arrow pointing to and I've given it a try but the thing won"t budge and I don't want to get to heavy handed lest I break something..

It certainly looks like a H3 globe in there and I guess there's probably one of those special tools to pop apart the housing so If you or anyone else knows how to pull the little s**t apart I wouldn't mind knowing as I was thinking of putting HID's in there.

I spose they assume you won't hardly use them, so they should last a fair while.
