As many people here know I own a B&S style XH ute. What I have decided to try is this:
I want to keep the bullbar on but also want xr6 lights. I looked into buying the twinlights but this wouldn't fix the gap between the bullbar and the bonnet nor the gap between the bullbar and the headlights (see pic).
Does anyone have an ef xr6 bumper that the bottom part has been damaged or destroyed but the top section around the headlights is still ok?
I then intend cutting the bottom part off, purchasing some original xr lights and fitting the whole lot while retaining the bullbar.

Any CONSTRUCTIVE thoughts and help in obtaining parts would be greatly appreciated. 8-)

ie seen xr6/8 utes like yours with a bullbar...

one had like an EL front (no grill)
and one like the EL which had a grill...

each to their own brad, but i didnt think it looked that crash hot... but you can only be happy when youve done it yourself...

i persponally dont think it would fit as the 5 poster already low compared to the headlights... it would be an interesting project.. sorry i cant be much help.. good luck!

no worries buddy

ill hunt down one for u asap.

in the mean time, your best bet at finding a damaged xr6/8 front end... i think your best bet is an all ford wreckers, if you live near one..

ill get back to you later on the pics.

Have fun trying the wreckers! (I am looking for an XG Front) I called everyone in the phonebook yesterday and found one damaged set for $350....

The twinlights look good but they won't fix the gap, nor replace the centre part of the bumper. Am leaning now towards cutting up an original xh front bar.
This leads me to my next question: Is the ef front bumper the same as the xh?

Thanks leroy. I've got the original hanging in the roof of the shed but I don't wanna cut that up. Might head over to the wreckers and see if I can get a f**k one to play with.
