I have been searching this forum to find out more about KYB shocks as I will be replacing my shocks this week. From what I have read the KYB's are very good value, give a firm ride but will wear out faster than koni's ect.
What sort of life expectancy would you expect from a set of KYB's?

Also how much did you pay for your set of KYB's? (shocks only) and which model did you get?

Thanks

yeah that was on superlows, im not sure on the exact model. sorry i cant be of more help.

p.s. my car has bottomed out MANY times, which im sure has severely shorten the life expectancy of the shocks.

Most standard shocks have a life of 100,000km

bottomed out how? Also how much did the shocks cost you?

standard shocks wouldn't last 100 000km's on low springs I dont think

I'll pay as little as possible :P depends on what I'm getting as to what I will pay but a place online quoted me $220 for front and rear KYB's, which seems cheap but after doing some searching on here one person said he got pedders shocks (rebadged KYB's) and springs fitted for $450 so maybe the price is right. What about you frase? how much for the boge's?

This might turn into a group buy. I'd like some better front shocks..
