I've installed HiDs in my car and now I've discovered the right hand side high and low beam have stopped working. I just pulled out the low beam globe and stuck it into the left plug and it works. Everything is plugged in on the right hand side properly but no go!

Has anyone fitted them and had any problems with them?

Also, I put some clear L.E.D.s in for the parklights and they shat themselves after less than a week. I just replaced them with a different type of L.E.D., turned the lights on and off a few times and the left one has already blown. Does anyone have any idea what the reason for this may be? Could there be a much bigger problem somewhere with the electrics?

Most LEDs require a resistor to limit current. They will blow without it. Are the ones you installed suitable for direct connection to 12v?

Yeah they are. I read on the back of the packet they're good for 12 - 15.8v or somewhere around there. They're made for the application.

there appears to be too much current going to the left side lights, perhaps due to the HIDs. if you have a multimeter test the voltage on the parker and the HID leads and make sure its normal. also test the current with one of the LED parkers as the load.

Yeah, I'll probably just end up putting standard bulbs back in for the parkers. They're the least of my worries. I can't work out where the problem lies with the low/high beams on the right side. Could something have gone wrong with the ballasts???
